Nigeria Auto Journalists begin preparations for annual Awards

Auto journalists in Nigeria, under the aegis of the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), have started preparing for this year’s edition of their annual Awards.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to hold  at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on December 12.
The NAJA annual awards ceremony is to recognise corporate stakeholders,  organisations and other automotive products and ancillary products such as  tyre brands , lubricants and individuals adjudged to have performed creditably in their respective segments during the year.
Winners of the annual awards are selected through a voting process by auto journalists drawn from the print, electronic and online media in the country.
One of the high points of the awards is in the Car-Of-The-Year (COTY) award category.
Other segments of awards are Luxury Car of the Year, Heavy Duty Truck of The Year, Auto Plant of the Year, CEO Of The Year, Auto Personality Of The Year and CSR Company Of The Year, Pick-up of the Year, Showroom of the Year and many others.
New additions to the awards segments this year, according to the organisers,  include Super Luxury Car of The Year, Online Auto Marketing Platform of The Year and Motorbike Taxi Service of The Year.
NAJA chairman, Mike Ochonma, said this year’s edition, just like the previous events, will be honouring outstanding auto brands and models that have achieved extraordinary success in the last one year.
