Matthieu Tenenbaum Appointed CEO of Mobilize Beyond Automotive

Matthieu Tenenbaum has been appointed as the  Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Mobilize Beyond Automotive, the Renault Group brand dedicated to new mobility. His appointment takes effect frommNovember 28, 2023.

 Matthieu Tenenbaum will report to Gianluca De Ficchy, CEO, Mobilize, Chairman of the Board, RCI Banque SA.

Matthieu and his teams will be fully committed to developing Mobilize’s activities in the fields of energy, data and mobility services.

Matthieu succeeds Fedra Ribeiro, who will leave Renault Group.

Born in 1977, Matthieu Tenenbaum joined Renault Group in 1997 as an apprentice. He then held different positions from 2000 to 2007 in the Body-in-white assembly department, leading projects in France, in Nissan North America and in Korea.

In 2007, he became EV Project leader and then was promoted in 2008 to Deputy Program Director of the Electric Vehicle Program in charge of developing Zoe, Fluence ZE and then Twizy and Kangoo ZE.

In 2011, he was named head of Business Development External Venturing, with the objective to develop a Corporate Venture strategy for Renault.

In 2014, he joined the newly created Africa-Middle East-India Region as Executive Director & Business Development Director, where he led key negotiations of new partnerships for the development of Renault in this growing region.

In July 2017, he was appointed CEO of Renault Colombia. Under his management, Renault became leader of the Colombian market and the leading manufacturer and exporter of the country.

In February 2022, he became Managing Director for Renault Russia and CIS countries before joining the Renault Brand in July 2022 as VP EV Business and market coordination, in charge of preparing Ampere for marketing and sales.

Matthieu Tenenbaum holds an engineering degree (2000) and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School (2014).
