Jaguar Land Rover moves to rock SA Festival of Motoring

Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa said arrangements have been concluded to storm the inaugural South African Festival of Motoring, scheduled to hold in September, in full force .

In a statement issued in Pretoria, Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa said consumers will be able to get up close and personal with select Jaguar and Land Rover models at the revamped Kyalami racetrack, venue of the Festival. This, according to the statement, includes experiencing a Land Rover’s capabilities on a purpose-built off-road course. Alternatively, drivers can take control of the mighty, V8-powered Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupé AWD onto the new Kyalami circuit and feel the rush of accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds, it added.

Disclosing that Jaguar Land Rover will have two surprise unveilings , it stressed that joining these two new arrivals will be Jaguar Land Rover’s full model lineup.

“The venerable Land Rover Discovery, as a limited edition Graphite model, and its sibling, the Discovery Sport. The hand-built Range Rover SVAutobiography will show off the ultimate in luxury, while the Range Rover Sport SVR will wow festival goers with its V8 roar and on-track performance.

“Jaguar will have its XE and All-New XF sports sedans, alongside the graceful and refined Jaguar XF R-Sport. And fresh from its South African launch will be the All-New Jaguar F-PACE – the British brand’s first-ever SUV, and one of its most anticipated models ever,” the statement added.
