Isuzu Motors South Africa Appoints Chule Qalase as Senior Manager, CSR & Sustainability

Isuzu Motors South Africa has  announced the appointment of Chule Qalase as Senior Manager, CSR & Sustainability. He is highly regarded within the profession, holds numerous accolades of achievement and has a wealth of expertise straddling both the Public and Private sectors.

Mongezi Hermans, Senior Vice President of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs says, “We are excited to have Chule on board. We have identified him as the best suitable candidate to join the team and further develop and drive our CSR & Sustainability Strategy focussing on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). Chule previously held the role of Senior Environment Health and Safety Specialist at Industrial Development Corporate; Sustainability Manager at Deloitte Africa; Project Manager for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR); and Environmental Officer at Northam Platinum.

A thesis researching “Systematic Eco-Efficiency Assessment of an Industrial (Pork Production) through Life Cycle Assessment and Product System Value” earned him Masters of Science in Engineering (Chemical), to add to his Honours Degree in Environmental and Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences, from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of South Africa respectively.
