As partnerships between automobile manufacturers and lubricants producers keep gaining currency across the world , Austria-based motorcycles manufacturers, Husqvarna , has announced a strategic global partnership deal with Swiss lube producer, Bucher AG Motorex, according to F+L Daily .
Husqvarna Motorcycles is very popular in the Southern African market.
F+L Daily reports that the agreement, which takes effect from January 2018 will ensure that all new Husqvarna models – both off-road and street – are factory filled with MOTOREX lubricants. It added that Husqvarna Motorcycles will also recommend MOTOREX lubes for the servicing and maintenance of all its models.
The report stressed that both the CEO of the Bucher Motorex Group, Edi Fischer, and Stefan Pierer, CEO of KTM AG, owners of Husqvarna Motorcycles, are quite excited about the deal, which will also see the Swiss lubricant manufacturer become the official partner of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing.
“This new cooperation with Husqvarna comprises all the components needed for success – a dedicated cooperation in R&D, in production, in racing and in the aftermarket business with the Husqvarna dealers. The sporting spirit, together with the targeted attitude of both companies contribute to the fact that we at MOTOREX feel very confident about this exciting partnership. We are very much looking forward to this new relationship with Husqvarna,” F+L Daily quoted Edi Fischer as saying.
It also quoted Stefan Pierer as saying:“Focused on pioneering development, it is of crucial importance to partner with a globally acclaimed lubricants manufacturer with whom we share many common objectives. This agreement with MOTOREX successfully fulfills our goals for strong strategic group partnerships in both our motorsports activities and production sector. Husqvarna Motorcycles remain true to their commitment to offer premium motorcycles,”
On MOTOREX becoming the official partner of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, Diego Clement, head of motorsports, Husqvarna Motorcycles, was quoted as saying : “This new agreement with MOTOREX ensures we have a technical partner we can 100% rely on, allowing us to continue chasing victories in all championship and events around the world, across all disciplines.”
He added: “MOTOREX products are well-proven at the highest level of racing and we are more than pleased that the entire Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team will be using them through 2018 and beyond. The new season starts with two hugely important events for us, the Dakar Rally and the round of the AMA Supercross series. Aiming for the top step of the podium in both disciplines, we are very much looking forward to starting this new year with MOTOREX by our side.”
