A Nigerian business conglomerate, the Stanel Group, has unfolded its plans to build an ultra-modern vehicle parts plant, a tyre production company as well as a lubricants plant in Benue State, saying the plants would provide training and employment opportunities for the teeming youths in the state. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Stanley Uzochukwu, disclosed this when he met with the Benue State Governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom, in Makurdi, the state capital, recently.
Uzochukwu said: “Considering Gov. Ortom’s administration’s commitment towards developing the state through provision of enabling business environment for both local and foreign investors, Stanel Group has marked Benue State as its next investment ‘port’. This is to see how it could add value to the development of the state through provision of best oil and gas services and products as well as creating employment opportunities to the youths in the area.”
He also disclosed that apart from the construction of ultra-modern luxury facilities in Benue State, Stanel Group would also establish its Stanel tyre production, Stanel engine oil and Stanel gas plants in the area.
His words: “By God’s grace, we will not only build ultra-modern luxury facilities in the state but also build our Stanel tyre production, Stanel engine oil and Stanel gas plants industries in the area. Another first class service we render that is compared to none in the country is vehicles’ parts maintenance and we will take that to Benue as well.”
On the planned engagement of restive youths in the state , the Stanel boss said: “With all of these (that) we are bringing to the state, many unemployed youths will be gainfully engaged and more values would be added to the development of the state.”
