CIG Motors Nigeria, official distributors of GAC Motor, JMC Pickup, DFM bus and Light truck in the country, has delivered a fleet of JMC Pick-up trucks to the Ondo State Government . The handover was part of the strategic partnerships the company is sealing across Nigeria.
At a ceremony held at the Government House in Akure, the Ondo State capital, last Thursday, February 10, 2022, the chairman of CIG Motors, Chief Diana Chen, who was represented by the General Manager, Commercial & Group Head Communications, Mr. Jubril Arogundade, handed over the vehicles to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, in the presence of other state government officials with a promise to set up an after-sales service centre in the state .
Speaking earlier at the ceremony, Governor Akeredolu had pleaded with CIG Motors to set up an after-sales workshop in the state, saying his Government would provide land for the construction of the workshop as the government was poised to purchasing more vehicles from the company .
Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who also spoke at the ceremony, expressed gratitude to the governor for what he described as the initiative to empower the 18 Local Governments in the state with the pick-up vehicles to be deployed for security operations across the state.
