C. Woermann, Stallion, ATQ Germany, DPH, Hunters Engineering, Others Showcase Products at WAAS 2022

The three-day West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS 2022)  holding in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, comes to a close this Thursday, May 19, with exhibitors expressing confidence that Nigeria’s automotive parts sector is set for a rebound after years of downturn occasioned by economic depression and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coming after the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in most part of  the world, WAAS 2022 in Lagos witnessed an impressive turnout of both local and international exhibitors as well as  visitors to the Landmark Event Centre – venue of the exhibition. 
Companies participating in the exhibition include C. Woermann Nigeria Limited, Stallion Nigeria Limited, ATQ Germany, DPH South Africa (Pty) Limited, Hunter Engineering Company from the United States of America, Linus Projects India, Transafty, a Logistics and Supply Chain Services Provider in Nigeria and many other companies from Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
 Onome Ayide, Head, Marketing & Communication, C. Woermann (Nigeria) Limited, marketers of Liqui Moly lubricants in Nigeria, in a chat with AUTO REPORT AFRICA, expressed happiness about the opportunities provided by the show, especially as it is coming after the COVID-19 restrictions on public gathering were lifted. Her company, C. Woermann, has been supporting Nigerian companies with high quality technical equipment and services since 1968 as it specialises in Power and Outdoor tools; Construction Equipment; Power Generators and Deutz Engines; Lifting and Handling Equipment; Automotive Spare Parts; Welding and Workshop Equipment.The company is also engaged in sales service , workshop and training.
 
Business Manager, ATQ Germany, Nadir Baali, was also on ground to showcase his company’s products from Walldorf, Germany.
ATQ Germany offers tested OE quality spare parts to fit all popular European and Asia vehicle types. Baali told AUTO REPORT AFRICA that he was happy to be at the show as he sees good prospects for his company’s products in the Nigerian market.
 Ricardo Swart, General Manager, DPH South Africa (Pty) Limited, also expressed happiness at being at the exhibition, disclosing that that was his first time in Nigeria. He told AUTO REPORT AFRICA that his company is a leading suppliers of high quality Oil Seals, O’Rings, Hydraulic Seals, Gaskets, Gasket Kits and other diverse components to the industrial, mining, agriculture and automotive industries.
Ranjeet Kumar Mahato, Regional Manager – International, Hunter Engineering Company, U.S.A, also expressed excitement at his company exhibiting at the show for the first time, saying his company has the best in power and heaving equipment lifts as well as wheel and alignment equipment that would be of great interest to Nigeria’s automotive market.
Ekanem Andifon. M, Logistics and Supply Chain Manager at Transafty, a logistics and supply chain management services provider, was also excited to be at the exhibition to prospect for new customers and businesses.Along with his company’s Business Development Manager, Kemi, they look forward to sealing new deals before the end of the show.
Khatab M.A, Managing Director, Linus Projects, India, was also at the show with his co-Managing Director from India to showcase their company’s range of equipment for Lubricant and Grease manufacturing plants .
The WAAS 2022 was indeed three days of fun and business networking as Autoparts dealers met with manufacturers under a very conducive and secured environment.
