The one-week programme, which aims at practically teaching and training auto technicians and other interested auto mechanics and allied professionals on how to convert any vehicle to run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquified Natural Gas (LPG) from Petrol/ Diesel engines, is in line with the Federal Government’s AutoGas Initiative.

The initiative is to encourage Nigerians to tap into the immense benefits in AutoGas by converting their petrol/diesel engine vehicles to run on AutoGas – LPG/CNG – which is cheaper instead of the concentration on petrol which prices have since gone up as a result of the withdrawal of subsidy on petrol.

The Auto Conversion/Installation in Ibadan is part of the series of training that have been successfully held in different parts of Nigeria, including Lagos and Abuja in the past few months as part of the efforts to drive sustainable mobility solutions in the automotive industry.
