Weststar Associates Limited, the general authorised representative for Mercedes-Benz in Nigeria, has announced, with great excitement, the debut of its first locally–built Mercedes-Benz bucket tipper in the country.
Undoubtedly, a great feat, the bucket tipper is mounted on the all new Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3342 chassis, and the project, according to Weststar, was done in accordance with the high manufacturer’s standards.
Managing Director, Weststar Associates Limited, Mirko Plath, who made the announcement, penultimate week on his LinkedIn Page monitored by AUTO REPORT AFRICA, said the feat was achieved in partnership with SEVAN CONSTRUCTION, a Nigerian body building company.
While making the announcement, Plath had stated, “In line with our continued dedication towards aiding the development of the Auto Manufacturing Industry in Nigeria, Weststar Nigeria is proud to announce its first locally built bucket tipper for the Mercedes-Benz brand in partnership with SEVAN CONSTRUCTION, a Nigerian body building company.
“This tipping bucket was built on the all new Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3342 chassis in accordance with the high manufacturer’s standards. Congratulations to all parties involved and the excellent team work attached to this project.
“I am convinced our new product will contribute perfectly well to Nigeria’s construction sector.”
