Weststar Appoints Ojulari as new Managing Director, Plath as CEO

The Board of Directors of Weststar Associates Limited  has appointed Mrs. Mary Ojulari as the new Managing Director of the company while upgrading Mirko Plath, former Managing Director, as the Chief Executive Officer of the leading auto dealership , which is the authorised general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Nigeria.

Ojulari, who was the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Weststar for five years, is bringing her immense wealth of experience in the corporate world to bear on her new role as she already has a successful history within the company and has  played a key part in the company in her previous roles.

Before joining Weststar, Ojulari who is a finance and accounting professional, and also the incumbent President, European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Nigeria, had worked with CNBC Africa as Finance Director for West Africa and as Finance Manager for BBC for five years.

She attended the South Thames College in London and she’s a graduate of London South Bank University where she obtained her first degree in Accounting. She also attended the Warwick Business School at University of Warwick where she obtained the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

The new CEO, Plath, had been the Managing Director at Weststar Associates since inception and has provided a solid base and sound footing for the new Managing Director in strengthening the local market for Mercedes-Benz.
