Two New Appointments at Dacia

Dacia, a Renault brand, has announced  two new appointments as Duncan Minto joins the Dacia-LADA Business Unit as  Chief Financial Officer while Grégoire Vitry joins Dacia as Director of Product Communication.

Duncan Minto, on March 1, 2022,  joined the Dacia-LADA Business Unit as the  Chief Financial Officer. He serves on the Management Committee headed by Denis Le Vot, General Manager of the Dacia and LADA brands. Duncan Minto also reports to Thierry Pieton, Chief Financial Officer of Renault Group.

 Minto will help roll out the Business Unit’s strategic plan. The aims of the plan, which forms an integral part of the Renaulution, include ambitiously developing strong products, expanding into new markets, and strengthening and modernising Dacia’s brand image.

Forty-six year-old Minto, studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He began his career with Renault Group UK in 1997. After holding various finance-related positions, Duncan MINTO became Chief Financial Officer of Renault Nissan Portugal in 2006. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Renault Group’s Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining the Dacia-LADA Business Unit, from 2017 , he was working as VP Financial Planning and Analysis within Renault Group, reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Only last week, Grégoire Vitry joined Dacia as Director of Product Communication on March 15, 2022. Reporting to Xiaoyan Hua-Schwab, VP Dacia & LADA communications,  Vitry is responsible for Dacia product launches across the board, as well as press relations with French media.

To carry out his duties, Vitry will work closely with Kalina Iordanova, Director of International and Internal Communications for both brands.

Vitry has a degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France) and over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.

After having held multiple roles at the Peugeot Product Department, Vitry spent five years at General Motors as an International Brand Manager.

In 2009,  he joined Opel France, where he was appointed France Communication Director in 2018.
