This is another step forward for Stellantis in Egypt as another deal is sealed with the Egyptian Government.

Stellantis has sealed another deal with Egypt. On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, the Chief Operating Officer, Middle East and African Region at Stellantis, Samir Cherfan, met with the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr Mostafa Madbouly;  Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ahmed Samir;  and the Chairman of “AOI”, General Mokhtar Abdellatif, at a ceremony in Cairo, the Egyptian capital. The meeting was  to sign a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) between Stellantis and The General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI).

The MoU is to ensure the launch of studies around Stellantis potential industrial footprint expansion in Egypt . The new deal is coming as a  great follow-up to  Stellantis’s  five decades of operations  in Egypt and it  will no doubt leverage its market leadership served by its strong local partnerships network in the North African country.
