Promasidor rewards staff at long service awards

Promasidor Nigeria Limited has rewarded 34 staff  that have worked for the company for 10, 15, and 20 years as part of the company’s efforts at recognising hard work and commitment to duty.  The staff were honored at a long service awards ceremony held at the company’s premises in Lagos at the weekend.

The colourful event was well-attended by management staff of the company, amongst whom were the Managing Director, Mr. Olivier Thiry; Chief Operating Officer, Anders Einarsson; Commercial Director, Kachi Onubogu; General Manager, Human Resources, Vitus Ezinwa; Technical Director, Michel Coin; and Head Legal and Public Relations, Andrew Enahoro.

Speaking at the ceremony, Thiry stated that the annual event was in appreciation of those that have served the company with dedication and humility in their various departments.

He said they are worthy to be rewarded in their various capacity, having worked so hard and have risen from their initial status of employment to higher positions.

“The company has deemed it fit to reward them with various gifts as they have contributed in their own capacity to the growth of their departments and the company in general,” Thiry affirmed.

At the ceremony, the awardees were rewarded with various gifts such as from refrigerators, generators and television sets.

Speaking at the event from Field Sales Department, Mr. Ndubuisi Yerima Venna, said he felt elated having worked for 20 years with due diligence to duty in his area of operation. He said over the years, the company has built a standard which it has adhered to, as it maintains its position as a world class organisation.

“The company has come of age in terms of standard and that is why the company has come up with this ceremony, unlike others that would think of the cost implication of it. I commend Promasidor Nigeria for this and it is an initiative that we look onto each year,” Venna said.
