Milos Raonic ...looking forward to returning to Wimbledon

Milos Raonic is Jaguar’s latest Global Tennis Brand Ambassador

Tennis world number seven and Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic has been announced as Jaguar’s latest Global Brand Ambassador, further strengthening the brand’s growing commitment to world sport. The announcement came ahead of the 2017 Wimbledon which starts on Monday as he joins an impressive list of Jaguar ambassadors including fellow ATP Top 10 players, Andy Murray and Kei Nishikori.

The Canadian known for his strong serve will wear Jaguar’s logo on his kit and will work on special projects to support the brand’s commitment to tennis. In his role as Global Ambassador, Raonic will be working with Jaguar supporting their position in tennis across the Australian, French, US and Canadian markets. He will also drive a Jaguar F-PACE, the Official Car of The Championships.

Commenting on the announcement, Raonic said: “Jaguar is a global brand that I really admire and I am delighted to be joining them to work together throughout Wimbledon and beyond. Having their support going into The Championships next week is going to be fantastic. Wimbledon is one of the toughest tournaments on the circuit. I look forward to playing on grass as it allows me to enforce my aggressive game style and keep my opponents off balance.”

Mark Cameron, Jaguar Land Rover Global Experiential Marketing Director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Milos Raonic has come on board as a global brand ambassador for Jaguar. Milos is a young and exciting talent in world tennis and we have no doubt he will go on to great things in the coming years. We are also excited to see Milos unveil the Jaguar patch on his playing kit next week.”

The 26-year-old is looking forward to returning to The Championships, Wimbledon following his success last year when he reached the final against Jaguar ambassador Andy Murray. Raonic beat some stiff competition on the way overcoming David Goffin followed by Roger Federer in the semi-final.

Jaguar is entering its third season as the Official Car of The Championships, Wimbledon which runs from Monday 3 July to Sunday 16 July. Jaguar will supply 170 vehicles from its award-winning range, including the XE, XF, XJ and F-PACE driving over 30,000 journeys during the tournament.
