Mercedes 2023 Formula One season will burst into life on February 15 when the team will launch their new W14 car, the German outfit said on Thursday.
The car will be unveiled during a digital launch event broadcast live from Silverstone.
“The 2023 car builds on the lessons learned from last year, which forced the team to confront and overcome numerous challenges with the W13,” Mercedes said in a statement.
Last season, the eight-time world champions failed to win the constructors’ championship for the first time since 2014 and secured only one win as George Russell clinched his maiden F1 victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, failed to win a race in 2022 and finished the drivers’ championship in sixth, two positions behind team-mate Russell.
Williams are to kick off the season with the car launch on February 6, followed by Alpha Tauri on February 11.
Other launch dates already confirmed include McLaren and Aston Martin on February 13 and Ferrari on February 14 and Alpine on February 16.
