LIQUI MOLY Managing Director Ernst Prost on the promise of quality from Germany.
In this letter, the CEO of the
German oil and additive specialist, explains to his colleagues that ‘Made in Germany’ at LIQUI MOLY not only stands for top quality, but also for humanity and helpfulness. These, according to him, are evident as the company is currently equipping emergency services around the world with products free of charge, as seen in the picture (above) from Mexico, among many others. Excerpts:
“Dear comrades-in-arms and helpers !
“Made in Germany.”
“For me this is still a first class award. It contains everything: quality, longevity, sturdy design, outstanding technology, inventions, patents, mechanical engineering, chemistry, vehicles and….
“We maintain business relations in 150 countries around the world. “Made in Germany” is highly regarded everywhere. However, this award does not only stand for top products and outstanding quality, but also for reliability, predictability, punctuality, contract compliance and trust.
“This is what our partners all over the world appreciate about us. They know what they have in German companies! That’s why I always get so foxy when some company or authority messes around with the quality seal “Made in Germany”.
“Keyword Diesel – fraud or airfield – shame. This is a slap in the face for all companies that sell German workmanship with this origin logo. We are one of the export world champions and depend on nobody damaging our reputation and standing abroad.
“Not only since Corona have WE added another dimension to “Made in Germany”: Humanity, helpfulness, charity. Our country is also known for this and is respected in the world. We donate, we help and we care. A trait, a quality that is appreciated in us Germans just as much as our products.
“There is hardly any other country in the world where people donate more than in ours. My current favorite picture shows all this: Products “Made in Germany” and helpfulness “Made in Germany”. Our Mexican business friends sent me this picture.
“Together with a certificate and a letter of thanks from the local Red Cross. More awards and recognition are not possible. I’m sure you can understand even better now why I only allow our TV spot to say: “Liqui Moly engine oils made in Germany!” That says it all.
