LIQUI MOLY Managing Director, Ernst Prost, has been named Germany’s Best Car Market Manager for 2019/2020. This was the result of a survey conducted on the country’s specialist automobile trade by the industry journal, Markt Intern.

Reacting to the announcement, the LIQUI MOLY boss, Ernst Prost, dedicated the honour to his “colleagues,” saying “This award is an additional motivation for my whole team.”

Every year, Markt Intern asks its readers to evaluate the managers in
the automobile trade and their work. More than 50 executives at car manufacturers and suppliers as well as insurance companies and banks were assessed.

This year, the car dealers voted Ernst Prost to the top. The reasons they gave included: “Exemplary commitment to Germany as a
production location”, “Prost and his team have maintained a very
cooperative partnership with us dealers for years” and “Prost is a
passionate and articulate representative of the automotive industry.”

Highly excited by the award, Ernst Prost said: “This prize, the readers’ choice, the placement right at the top of the podium, the lasting successes, and the sustainable results are like nourishment to me. Nourishment in extremely difficult times.”

He added: “This award is as welcome to me as a glass of water to a man dying of thirst. An enormously tough dry spell lies behind us and an equally demanding one still lies ahead. We’ve been fighting for weeks and months against a tiny virus and huge problems.”

Since 2010, Ernst Prost has always been among the top six in this survey, finishing in second place last year, and has already made it to the top once – in 2012.

“This renewed title win is of course further great recognition for Prost, his enormous achievements as an entrepreneur, and his very close ties to medium-sized businesses in the automobile trade,” Markt Intern, said.
