Jay Chang assumes office as global head of Genesis

 

Jay Chang assumes office, this Saturday, August 1,2020, as Global Head of the  Genesis brand following his recent appointment by Hyundai Motor Company.  Jaehoon (Jay) Chang, former Executive Vice President at Genesis,  will be responsible for the Genesis business and lead its global expansion.

Chang joins Genesis with extensive and varied experience in the Hyundai Motor Group. He has held roles of increasing responsibility within the Production Development Planning, Customer Experience, Korean Business and People & Business Operation Support Divisions. His focus on customer experience, quality and corporate growth strategy uniquely positions him to lead Genesis through its next phase of growth.

In his new capacity, Chang will lead the brand’s further expansion by increasing sales and brand awareness around the world, becoming a strong presence in the luxury automotive market.

The appointment follows Yong-woo (William) Lee’s promotion to CEO of Innocean, the global marketing communications company. Due to  Lee’s previous experience as a founding executive of Innocean Worldwide Americas, he is the perfect executive to lead that business forward.  Lee also assumes his new role from this Saturday,   August 1, 2020.
