General Motors South Africa (GMSA) employees , Friday morning, braved the cold and rainy weather in aid of the annual Community Chest Winter Woolly Week street collection.

The initiative formed part of the company’s We Give Back programme which encourages employees to support the local community.

And leading by example, President and Managing Director of GM Sub-Saharan Africa, Ian Nicholls, was caught in action as he collects money from motorists at the busy intersection of William Moffatt Express Way and Cape Road, Port Elizabeth.

Nicholls was joined by a number of colleagues at various intersections in Port Elizabeth with close to 50 employees from all levels in the organisation volunteering their time before heading back to the office and the production lines that morning.
