Excitement as First Kaduna Autoparts Expo Enters Day 2

Great excitement is still in the air as the First Kaduna Autoparts Expo entered its second day this Friday after the event kicked-off fully Thursday morning with the Automotive Stakeholders Conference at Assa Pyramid Hotel in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna . From the venue of the conference,  the dignatories and other participants moved over to the Exhibition ground at the Kaduna Township Stadium (formerly Ranchers Bees Stadium) to formally declare the programme open.

The exhibition is the first of its kind in the whole Northern Region, comprising 16 States in Nigeria, with a combination of no fewer than 60 million people and the maiden edition of the Kaduna Automotive Stakeholders Conference and Exhibition means so much to stakeholders here.

This is quite understandable as Kaduna is a metropolitan city and a major commercial centre in Northern Nigeria which is already attracting a lot of investments from both local and foreign companies.

At the Asa Pyramid Hotel on Lafia Road, venue of the Stakeholders Conference, Thursday morning were the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, Engr. Hassan Usman; the Director-General, National Automotive Design and Development  Council (NADDC), Mr. Jelani Aliyu, represented by Dr. Omisanya and a host of other dignatories.
