Coscharis Motors, authorised representative of Ford Motors in Nigeria, has added Ford Trucks to the Ford range of vehicles in the country. The Ford Trucks were formally unveiled on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the 15th Lagos Motor Show with the Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, Jelani Aliyu, cutting the tape to officially introduce the Ford Trucks into the Nigerian market.
General Manager, Marketing and Communications, Coscharis Group, Abiona Babarinde, who represented the Coscharis Group President/CEO, Dr. Cosmas Maduka, at the ceremony, said: “With Ford Trucks’ almost 60 years of experience in truck manufacturing and product development for international markets, we are glad to announce the confidence Ford Trucks reposed in us to represent them in Nigeria,” adding, ” Being part of the Auto fair is a strategic move to showcase what Ford Trucks and Coscharis have on offer in order to jointly delight the heavy duty truck customer.”
Coscharis Group had promised to be a major player in the haulage business in the country with the Ford Trucks brand of Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicles (HDCV) with its Coscharis Mobility division.
Ford Trucks are purposely-built, strong and rugged for deployment in haulage, construction and agricultural sectors, among others, and are well suited for the Nigerian roads.
