BREAKING! General Motors moves to hands off Isuzu, Chevrolet in South Africa

In a move that is capable of disrupting the sub-Saharan Africa market, Isuzu Motors, this Thursday, announced its intention to purchase General Motors’s South African light commercial vehicle manufacturing operations and strengthen its presence in the market. The announcement came on a day GMSA also announced its decision to stop local manufacturing and selling of Chevrolet vehicles in the domestic market by the end of 2017. Details coming shortly…..
