Ghana takes delivery of over 300 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter ambulances

The Government of Ghana has taken delivery of over 300 Mercedes-Benz  Sprinter ambulances.
AUTO REPORT AFRICA reliably gathered that the ambulances which were brought into the West African country from Germany in no fewer than three batches would be deployed for the national health project of the Ghana Government.
Sources close to the project told our correspondent in Accra, the country’s capital, that the ambulances would soon be deployed to all the Regions in the country to boost basic healthcare delivery.
It was also gathered that the ambitious health project is very close to the heart of the President Nana Akufo- Addo Administration to deliver on his promise to boost healthcare delivery in the country.
A special arrangement is also being planned for the maintenance of the ambulances in order to achieve the purpose for which they were procurred.
