Autolady Garage, the world-class and all-inclusive automobile garage, operated by Engr. Joyce Daser-Adams, the first female mechanic in northern Nigeria, has opened a new outlet in Utako, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Though Autolady Garage has its head office at Dutse-Alhaji in Abuja, the new Autolady Quick Service & Diagnostics Centre, situated at Lebrex Plaza, by Peace Mass transit, Utako, Abuja, will render almost the same services as in Dutse Alhaji.
Confirming this to AUTO REPORT AFRICA during a chat last week, Daser-Adams said the decision to “go back to Utako” where Autolady Garage actually started from before moving to Dutse Alhaji, was to move closer to most of their customers and offer the first-class automobile services they are used to.
“Remember, we started off from Utako before being forced out of the place about a year ago. Most of our customers are in Utako and some of them found it difficult coming to our new location in Dutse Alhaji because of the distance. We have really lost customers since our garage was demolished, only a few are ready to come to Dutse Alhaji because of the distance.
“We have decided to move back closer to them in order to give them the first-class services they were used to. Our new outlet in Utako is situated within a shopping plaza and we don’t anticipate any problems with the Municipal Authority again , ” Daser-Adams explained.
Autolady Garage outlets are also accredited aftersales service centres for the new Geely brand marketed in Nigeria by Mikano International Nigeria as they are attached to the Abuja dealership of Geely Nigeria.
