AAAM Appoints Bernhard Manson-Kullin as Project Manager for Component Manufacturing

The African Association of Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM) has appointed Bernhard Manson-Kullin as a Project Manager responsible for Component Manufacturing . His appointment takes effect from October 1, 2022. The primary objective of this role, according to AAAM,  is to develop and grow component manufacturing in Africa through the value chain and to facilitate linkages that will develop partnerships, grow manufacturing capability, unlock production and trade opportunities.

Bernhard has an Industrial Engineering qualification with extensive experience in the fields of manufacturing, process control and automation in the automotive value chain from component manufacture to vehicle assembly.

Commenting on Bernard’s appointment,  the CEO of AAAM Dave Coffey, said “I have no doubt that with Bernhard’s experience and skill set, that he will enable significant progress in the development of the automotive value chains across Africa. I welcome Bernhard to AAAM and will provide my full support to ensure his success”

AAAM focusses on the expansion and deepening of the automotive industry across Africa by working with governments to shape policies and provide support that will attract investors, unlock the economic potential of the continent, and align a global network of stakeholders committed to the development of a sustainable automotive industry in Africa.
