Chandrasekaran appointed new chairman for Jaguar Land Rover Automotive

The chairman of Tata Sons who is also the CEO/Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Natarajan Chandrasekaran, has been appointed Director and Chairman of the Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc board, according to a statement issued on Friday.

The new JLR Chairman is also a Director on the board of the Reserve Bank of India, board member of Tata Steel Limited as well as a board member of TCS Foundation.

Jaguar Land Rover, the British luxury carmaker with  headquarters in Whitley, Coventry, United Kingdom, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of  Indian auto giant, Tata Motors.
