Toyota begins global search for automated driving Software Engineers

Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD) has announced that it is ready to employ “Battle-Ready” Automated Driving Software Engineers across the world in a bid to boost its team to 1,000 engineers.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, TRI-AD said the global search is in line with its ultimate goal of creating the world’s best software for automotive safety and autonomy while at the same time embracing the tradition of Japanese craftsmanship and quality.

With the aim of creating one team to make the dream a reality, TRI-AD has therefore opened its recruitment website in a bid to grow its team to 1,000 employees, including seconded staff from Toyota, Denso, and Aisin.

The statement said the company’s new facility will be located in Nihonbashi, conveniently located in the heart of the exciting Japanese capital. Nihonbashi is where culture meets innovation, capitalizing on traditional Japanese craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.
