SIFAX RECEIVES NPA’S APPROVAL ON TRUCKS

SIFAX Haulage and Logistic Ltd. has received the approval of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) haulage truck registration team.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Corporate Affairs Manager of SIFAX, Mr. Muyiwa Akande

SIFAX Haulage and Logistics Ltd. is a subsidiary of SIFAX Group.

The statement said that the Principal Manager, Safety, Western Ports of NPA, Mr. Adeola David, who led the NPA’s team to the company, commended the road worthiness of the trucks.

David said the registration exercise was part of NPA’s resolve to stop rickety trucks from operating in Nigerian ports.

He said that using sub-standard trucks in the industry had resulted in various avoidable accidents and commended SIFAX for developing high standard of trucks.

“We are happy that an operator has deemed it fit to do the right thing. All the trucks in SIFAX haulage company are well maintained.

“The trucks also have necessary gadgets and instruments needed and we are happy to say that they (SIFAX) have passed our test by all standard, ‘’ the statement said.

The statement said that the General Manager, SIFAX Haulage and Logistics Ltd, Mr. Saheed Lasisi, said after the registration exercise by NPA, that the positive result of the company was as a result of professionalism.

Lasisi added that the success of the company’s achievements was also attached to dedicated work force and a massive investment made by SIFAX Group.

“In 2015 alone, we acquired 25 brand new trucks because of our business philosophy which hinges on servicing our clients with the best equipment and tools,” he said.

The statement said that SIXFAX Group pledged not to relent in its efforts, adding that the company was in its final stage of acquiring 25 new trucks for better service delivery. (NAN)
