IKA Germany, the specialist for electrical, mechanical and electronic automotive spare parts, with customers in over 70 countries across five continents, is taking its 2017 African Road Show to South Africa’s leading international trade fair, Automechanika Johannesburg, scheduled to hold from September 27 to 30, 2017 in the South African capital.

The African Road Show is berthing next at Automechanika Johannesburg following the company’s earlier participation at AutoExpo Kenya in April and AutoExpo Ethiopia in May with another participation at the Kaduna Autoparts Exhibition scheduled for October in Nigeria.

The Automechanika Johannesburg is one of the most important events for trade visitors from the Sub-Saharan Region and also a significant date in the international automotive aftermarket diary.

By taking its 2017 African Road Show to Automechanika Johannesburg, IKA Germany said it intends to strengthen and deepen its good business relationships in Africa.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Sebastian Hoff, head of sales of IKA Germany, said: “This year, we focus on Africa, as one of the aspiring and growing markets in the automotive aftermarket sector. Therefore, it was important for us to be present at several shows and get in touch with existing clients and new customers from this fascinating continent. We also took the opportunity to introduce our relay and sensor range and expand our partnership network.”

IKA Germany and its GEBE brand are active in the automotive aftermarket in the 3rd generation.
