Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State; Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Hajia Aisha Abubakar; Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Mr. Jelani Aliyu, are among the top government officials that have confirmed to attend the First Kaduna Automotive Parts Exhibition and Stakeholders’ Conference scheduled to start in Kaduna on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 . The events run through Saturday, October 7, 2017, in the Kaduna State capital.

A statement issued at the weekend in Kaduna and signed by Mr. Geoffrey Faasema. Managing Director/CEO, Routes and Roads Transport Company Limited, organisers of the events, said the Automotive Parts Exhibition will be declared open by Governor El-Rufai on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Kaduna Township Stadium (formerly Ranchers Bees Stadium) while the Trade and Industry Minister, Abubakar, is expected as the Special Guest of Honour at the Stakeholders’ Conference on Thursday, Oct.5 at the Assa Pyramid Hotel, where the Director General of NADDC, Aliyu, will deliver the keynote address.

The statement added that the Emir of Birnin Gwari, Alhaji  Zubairu Jibrin Magwari ll, who is also the Grand Patron of Routes and Roads Transport Company Limited, will be the chief host of the events.

Faasema disclosed that no fewer than 100 local exhibitors and a couple of foreign ones are expected to participate in the expo even as he restated that adequate preparations have been made for the security of both the visitors and exhibitors at the events.
